This is economically insane. Their salary and upkeep money is hosed into foreign countries and doesn't recirculate into our economy this way.

Our military has long ceased being just policemen of the world and moved to being welfare program to the world, and with our economy as it is, that is absolutely insane.

And what if we NEED them?
