There's a total of 190 dels (not all showed up) that got elected from last weeks' primary, up roughly ~50-60% (perhaps more but is hard to tell) from the last term. Things went pretty smooth because our CD's area of Wayne Co is chaired by an RP guy, as well as the chair of the rules comm. The parliamentarian has been pushed toward the real conservatives' side because one of the blowhard status quo heads has been harassing (and others were seeing this as an attempt to confuse things instead of streamline) him in present and past conventions, which he publicly made note of tonight:eek: :cool:during a procedural vote which finally passed. The secretary just does his job as well the sergeant at arms. The notary who swears officials in is one of us, so we won't have much to change during next year's state conv tho we'll be putting checks on the state party.

We couldn't get all of our newly elected PDs to show but the leaning of the majority of those in attendance definitely skews Tea Party conservative over SOP republicans. As some of the SOP republicans continue to make asses out of themselves for almost no reason besides being blowhards, the more the delegation skews to the conservative side. My bro and I are dels for the state next month in Grand Rapids and some of our leader folk are sitting this one out for the noobs to get their feet wet. It's good so some of the noobs that might not be us, will think it was nice that certain people gave up their seats for them and hence will pay off down the line when it really counts. We send 72 dels and 72 alts to state. Enjoy
