Apparently one of the Christian groups targeted by the tolerant liberals (branded a "hate group" by the SPLC and part of the Chik Fil A brouhaha) was shot up by a liberal who volunteered at a LBGT center.

Not hearing anything about it. Can you imagine the media if the guy had been a TEA Party member?

It would go on for days, if not weeks.

I've noticed it on all the MSM networks on the News Channel. Is it being made a big deal? No. but it is getting a mention.

When does this stop?

It doesn't. This is the media equivalent of 'Summer Shark Attack." It will encompass every shooting from every angle. Libs shooting. Reps shooting. Drug dealers shooting. Evicted shootings. Psycho shootings. Political shootings.
The blood is in the water and every shooting will come under scrutiny with the exception of government sanctioned shooting.

Yup, just imagine if this was a tea party member going into a NAACP or planned parenthood office or something. It would be on the front page of every news outlet for WEEKS!

No. You're projecting. I have seen this with as much coverage on every news source as the Texas eviction shooting. They are covering them al without investigative reporting. Shootings this year will be the "Shark Attack!" of last year. If it bleeds it leads. Until the next blood let.

It's been on every newscast I've seen.

What has interested me more, but has not been mentioned, is a spattering of bomb threats. The one on the airplane was mentioned, but there was one at the hospital my job is affiliated with... and it did not even make the local news even though it caused a partial evacuation and the building was searched for hours.

It took CNN two hours and 45 minutes before mentioning the shooting at the advocacy group's office 1.1 miles from the CNN D.C. bureau. On the NBC Nightly News, Brian Williams gave the story just 17 seconds, identifying FRC as a "conservative group" but not mentioning the affiliations and motive of the shooter.
MSNBC's Chris "Tingles" Matthews, who pinned the Giffords shooting squarely on Sarah Palin, said nothing.
No one died, thanks to the security guard who subdued the intruder and took a bullet in the process, but that does not explain the liberal silence.
Is it perhaps because his motivation was the hate speech of the left?
The shooter had a political target and there are reports of his yelling about his opposition to FRC policies during the attack.

According to the liberals on Twitter, the FRC had it coming. It's apparently a capitol crime to believe in traditional marriage now. No trial, either. Straight to Obama's hit list.

Where was Brian Williams, who proclaimed the Batman shooter was a member of the TEA Party, which was not true at all? Or the chatter about how the Giffords shooting was the fault of the TEA Party?

I remember when abortion clinics were targeted - the media couldn't yammer on enough about the horrible Christians. But this happens? Not a word about the clear political motives.

I got it years ago. But there are still too many people that deny it exists.

But it doesn't really fit into the ongoing narrative that limited government proponents are blood thirsty barbarians.

A lot of those stories make my point, in that they ignore the very real political angle of the shooting, when the non-political shootings were immediately and falsely blamed on conservative politics.

Read the comments at HuffPo - they're truly psychotic.

You know one thing I haven't heard out of all this is a *single* Christian admitting the possibility that their little mass hatred demonstration at the chicken sandwich chain might have actually *scared* your LGBT neighbors?

Sorry someone seems to have lost it about it, but, yes. You scared us.

Happy?

The chickens are finally coming home to roost. People are getting fed up with the hate and menace coming from the Christian right, and unfortunately, those on the fringe will take things to the extreme ... just like the extremist Christians

Has anyone set up a defense fund for Floyd Corkins?

I remember my friend listing FRC as one of the "hate groups" connected with Chik-Fil-A.

I still don't see what qualifies them as a hate group. Does anyone know something I don't?
