from the end, about the so called 'civic minded challengers'....

An attorney from the Washington, D.C., firm Patton Boggs is representing Staples and Cianchette pro bono. Staples said the lawyer also is involved with other contests involving state delegations to the Republican convention.

So nice for a Boston Law Firm to work pro bono on a Maine delegate challenge. I wonder if that is Romney's law firm?

Here's your connection:

In both the 2004 and 2000 election cycles, Mr. Ginsberg served as national counsel to the Bush-Cheney presidential campaign; he played a central role in the 2000 Florida recount. In 2008, he served as national counsel to the Romney for President campaign. He also represents the campaigns and leadership PACs of numerous members of the Senate and House, as well as the national party committees. He serves as counsel to the Republican Governors Association and has wide experience on the state legislative level from directing Republican redistricting efforts nationwide following the 1990 Census and being actively engaged in the 2001-2002 round of redistricting.

Guy is a rogue's gallery all by himself.

Romney funded the "Staples" office supply chain.

I wonder if "Jan Martens Staples", in this suit had any bearing on him choosing the name "Staples"

It's could be also that staples are sold ad office supply stores.

Now that would set the story straight!
