Need some old Constitution-looking paper for a grassroots advertising project for Tea Party or otherwise?

1. Brew some tea and let it cool until you can put your fingers in it comfortably. Put it in a dish large enough to hold a sheet of paper.
2. Place a sheet of paper in it and push it down below the water and leave it in for a while. The longer you leave it in, the more it will tan. 10 minutes or so is more than enough.
3. Place the sheet in a baking pan and bake at 350 for a while until it looks crinkly.

You can also use a lighter to burn the edges for an additional aged look.

Assuming that the tannins in the tea are what is driving the color change, you could just use some tree bark-tea (or any other tannin-containing plant matter) to get the same effect. That might be helpful for people who don't have tea, but have plenty of trees handy.
