I posted this on my facebook, got a few zinger quotes....haha:
Paul Ryan on TARP (giving bailout money to companies):
"This bill offends my principles, but i'm going to vote for this bill in order to preserve my principles, in order to preserve this free enterprise system." @ 2:20 mark.
"We have a chance of arresting that crash: just maybe, this will work." @ 3:55.
Just more of the same. More bailouts, more lack of principle, more screwing the taxpayers on the "just maybe this will work" hope. Yea right....

It's the tone-deafness that bothers me more than anything. He's an elected Representative. When these bills were being debated, a huge bi-partisian effort to stop the spending formed on the grassroots level. We called, faxed, emailed, and called again. The Congressional switchboard literally overloaded.
Nothing says tone deaf, self-absorbed, career politician like voting Yes on TARP and the auto-bailouts.

George W. Bush weighs in with rare statement: "This is a strong pick. Gov. Romney is serious about confronting the long-term challenges."
LOL!

That seems to be the pre-ordained spin.
What a lie.

Does Paul Ryan know history?
Seems like he bought into the liberal propaganda about Herbert Hoover, which paints Hoover as a Laissez-faire capitalist, when he big government interventionist like his successor, FDR.
