CNN recently reported that the DoD guzzles 340,000 Barrel of Oil per day. That is to say that if the DoD was its own country (and it kind of is three or four at the moment) it would be the 38th largest consumer of Oil.

So beyond pushing the Oil prices up through War Mongering and generally setting fire to all things Oily, the actions overseas put a demand on the Oil supply equivalent to an additional first world nation.

Ending the Iraq war and refusing to let Iran's pathetic saber rattling put the wind up us, will in fact add more oil to the worlds supply (by reducing DoD demand) than OPEC seem capable of adding.

I would love to see this brought up by the main campaign (once someone double checks all the facts :) )
