All this hub bub about Mitt Romney's mormon push polling...

Why don't we put together an effort to push poll NAU questions?

Question samples:
1. Are you in favor of the United States, Mexico, and Canada forming a North American Union with a Constitution that Superceded all nations?

2. The Council on Foriegn Relations is an organization that is in favor of a North American Union. Would you vote for a candidate who participates in this organization?

3. Mitt Romney is a member of the Counsel on Foreign Relations. Does this fact make you more or less likely to be in favor of a North American Union?

4. Fred Thompson is also a member... Etc.

As long as it 1) doesn't mention Ron Paul, and 2) adheres to standards for randomized, scientific polling, I think this could be a useful thing to do.

How would we go about this? Anyone with any experience in polling out there?

Look at all the controversy around the McCain / Romney thing. How many people do you reach with a push poll, somewhere in the thousands? You really see those people then spreading the word to factor that number up? There's no real payoff here, the country is huge and the polls would have very little impact, and the potential backfire would still reflect poorly on Ron Paul if it was traced back to one of his supporters.

Let it go, please.
