This is fucked up if true.

a female officer “forcibly removed” a tampon from Tarantino. Presumably, the cops were looking for drugs, but the lawsuit notes that a drug-sniffing dog was never called in, and cops never found any contraband or anything illegal.:eek::eek:

It's only a matter of time before this becomes routine for TSA checkpoints.

Nc law is pretty clear about this.. Rape is sexual intercourse. This is a sexual assault of some type, not sure specifically what the charge would be if you or I did this - but doesnt matter anyways. The cops did it, for the kids. They get a free pass at this.

They weren't checking for drugs. Anyone with half a brain (alright, that may be too much for cops) knows what a tampon looks like. Plain and simple, they just wanted to show their power status by embarassing and violating another human being.

The article mentions a lawsuit. That would be interesting to read.

Here ya go: http://www.scribd.com/doc/102469000/Tarantino-Tampon-Lawsuit

Read the whole thing and if true, it sounds absolutely mortifying. Not to mention leaving her kids, 1 and 4 yrs old, sitting in the car for the two hours that they took to abuse her.

My God, what has become of this country. I am utterly disgusted and appalled.

We can also thank SCOTUS for this:

I've said it before and I'll say it again: in instances of egregious abuse such as this, the officers in question must be held PERSONALLY liable for damages.

If the facts are indeed as the lawsuit alleges, the cops basically gang-raped this woman for two hours alongside a busy highway and in front of her young children. In my opinion, that fully justifies the forfeiture of the cops' personal assets and pensions as part of the penalty if they're found guilty.

Frankly, I think this deserves to be prosecuted in criminal court.

Chalk another one up, fully violated thanks to the drug war.

Cops Strip Search Mom, “Forcibly” Pull Tampon Out of Her for Maybe Rolling Through Stop Sign

By Chris Sweeney Thu., Aug. 9 2012

Getting pulled over for rolling through a stop sign is whack. But getting pulled over, having a gun pointed in your face, and then being strip searched on the side of the road in front of your two children for rolling through a stop sign is, well, really whack and probably an excessive use of force.

At least. that's what a new lawsuit in the Sunshine State is claiming.

Last July, Leila Tarantino claims that she was pulled over by an officer with the Citrus County Sheriff's Department. In the suit, Tarantino says she came to a full stop and should have never been pulled over in the first place.

A passing cop pulled a u-turn, flashed the lights, and rolled up behind her. Tarantino claims that the cop immediately drew his weapon, pulled her from the car, and refused to explain why he pulled her over. Tarantino's two young children watched all of this unfold from inside her car.

The cop then placed Tarantino in the back of the squad car, where she allegedly sat for two hours. When backup arrived, Tarantino was strip searched on the side of the road, where passing motorists could see everything.

Then, in a gruesome twist, a female officer "forcibly removed" a tampon from Tarantino. Presumably, the cops were looking for drugs, but the lawsuit notes that a drug-sniffing dog was never called in, and cops never found any contraband or anything illegal.

The lawsuit does not name the cops involved but notes that there were five male officers and one female officer.

According to the court filing, cops released Tarantino with a citation.

Here's a copy of the lawsuit:

There absolutely has to be more to this story.

The cops cannot have done this shit out in the open. Seriously, this could not have happened with others around watching it unfold. If it did, we are so truly fucked. People suck and are pussies and I don't want anything to do with them anymore.

I found, a long time ago, most of the problems people have are because of other people. I don't know why some people like to cause other people problems, but they do. Perhaps it gives them a feeling of power.
