You know what pisses me off the most about stories like this?

It isn't the vicious & unjustifiable behavior of the cops (though that's bad enough).

It's the effots of "journalists" who NEVER fail to preface stories of police thuggery with the nostrum of "officer safety."

And according to this guy, the "real question" is NOT whether the cops behaved abominably.

It's whether the cops will admit to making an "error" if they arrest the wrong person! Whaaa....?

But that's OK, I guess. After all, as the lady "journalist" tells us, stories like this are "complex" and cops have a "different point of view."

Cops should carry a sign that says, "Freeze, don't move, put your hands in the air." And even then, consider they don't use English well. Or give them a universal hands out, stop sign. Do that as backing away with weapon drawn upon them.



We carried a sign like that that said, stay x feet/meters away from the intake in the native language of the country we could possible divert into when I flew the F-16. That fucker was a Hoover vacuum, and killed some as ground crews that are used to chocking the nose wheel immediately.

I don't know if true, but have heard a higher IQ disqualifies you in some police forces.
