Guy Adams works as a writer for The Independent, a national newspaper in Great Britain. He lives in Los Angeles. Throughout the Olympics, he's taken to Twitter and ripped NBC repeatedly for its coverage of the Games in America.

Namely, he's criticized the network's reliance on using tape delays, a frustration shared by millions of viewers.

so let me get this straight, the federal government can't get twitter accounts suspended when some hack and release government secrets, but NBC can get a whiner suspended?

People still watch the Olympics?

This is exactly what I was asking myself while watching the opening ceremonies.

It was like watching a commercial for Hollywood, Broadway, Harry Potter, Disney and universal health care, all at the same time.

But on Tuesday, Twitter was forced to admit it breached the trust of its users when it apologized for suspending the account of Guy Adams, a Los Angeles correspondent for the U.K.'s Independent newspaper.

Manufactured controversy. These people have low level employees who make decisions that are rescinded 24 hours later. It's not like the CEO is monitoring 24/7

By the way this controversy is great for this journalist now. I'm sure he's thrilled. Kind of like when Alex Jones YouTube channel goes dark for four hours.

NBC showed a bike race rather than the USA mens basketball game. The game was on NBC sports but you only get that channel if you get the 100$ package... was pretty bummed

I don't pay for cable, so I guess I'm not allowed to watch the Olympics, even though I subscribe to a $60 internet service. But whatevs, right?
