That's right whitey. It doesn't matter if you deserve a simple time out in the hallway for cursing.... we need more WHITE SUSPENSIONS to keep pace with the one's were handing out to the trouble makers. It's only fair?

President Barack Obama (http://topics.dailycaller.com/politics/obama-administration/barack-obama.htm) is backing a controversial campaign by progressives to regulate schools’ disciplinary actions so that members of major racial and ethnic groups are penalized at equal rates, regardless of individuals’ behavior.

Is there anything progressives don't want to regulate?

Why are we always trying to make people equal on the grounds of 'equally bad' instead of equal in the opposite direction, of being good?

Because that's "racist."

Because that's "racist."

I don't see how they can say that. It's racist to hold ethnic groups to higher standards yet it's not racist to force 'whites' to do poorly, get severe punishments when not deserved, or not take a job they may be better equipped for?

That's exactly why I put it in quotes.

I don't believe that blacks are lesser human beings, which is why I don't think that they need special treatment. I also think that this "special treatment" is a major part of the reason that black families/neighborhoods are in such a disastrous state.

Meanwhile, just like every other societal issue, left-wingers think that the solution is to take money from other people and throw it randomly to the wind--it eases their conscience and stamps down the racism in themselves that they deny they have.

Another reason to homeschool.

Well, let's just make school discipline random. Once a week a lottery will be held and the student whose name is drawn will be caned for the sins of all the other students.

If a teacher has sex with a student, does she have have sex with a student from each race now to make it fair?

Seriously, there is no need for any level of government to be involved in eduacation at all. I do not see how our entire government cannot figure that out.

The black man, female, homosexual, and any other permanently designated official "victim" class are not interested in their full property rights as true justice, instead the official victims groups are building a political throne from which to wield the same injustice that they claim to be trying to eliminate. It's not the recognition of their rights that they are truly interested in...it's the stepped and staged removal of the rights of the official "oppressor" class. They want the power to oppress with out people recognizing the hipocracy of their exercising it through the official institutions.

In short, the political victim classes want to get in to government power to be racist, sexist and anti-heterosexual as vengeance, not the pursuit of justice.

Hipocracy and corruption, plain and simple.

This could backfire politically. Anything this braindead ought to go through congress for political cover. Few groups fight harder than parents when their precious angels are treated unfairly - and rightly so.

Imagine if they tried this in grown-up court? Although maybe we could reduce some disparities in prison if all the anti-free market laws (prohibitions) were removed. Imagine if our medical and pharmaceutical industries had to earn our business instead of having it protected by a police state.

All of those groups want something for free. They want the government to step in and take jobs away from people who deserve them and give them to these victim groups. Then they want the government to step in and brainwash people into thinking these victim groups are just as good as everyone else.

What should be done is to try to build up these victim groups so they are just as good as everyone else.

So is "progressives" a misnomer? It seems like everything they want to do is actually about three steps backward.

Why must we label and divide everybody? Are we seriously unable to look at each person as an individual and not define them solely by their race, gender, or sexual orientation? All these morons are doing is acting as the catalysts for continued discrimination based upon the notion that certain groups of people are being treated as "favorites".

Perhaps this is, though not the first, an incremental step towards similiar measures in the penal system. Just a thought. Call it a test population (think TSA and airports).
