The trial for former Republican Party of Florida Chairman Jim Greer will be pushed back several months.
In a decision today, Greer's new start date will be November 12. It was pushed back because the defense wanted more emails from RPOF.

Greer is charged with funneling money from the state Republican Party to his personal accounts.

Why is this important?

Because Marco Rubio was affiliated (to what extent unknown) with this guy's alleged corruption via RPOF credit cards. (http://www.tampabay.com/news/politics/legislature/article1075692.ece)

Rubio is considered to be a top VP pick because he is Hispanic and from Florida and young and seen as a "Tea Party" guy. However while as Speaker of the House in FL he ushered in Cap and Trade to FL, and is also affiliated with (http://www.aspeninstitute.org/leadership-programs/aspen-institute-rodel-fellowships-public-le-/rodel-fellows-class-2007) the George Soros Aspen Institute.

Many people suspect this trial will bring out some serious dirt on Marco Rubio, and as such, Romney would not be able to choose him as his VP. Now that the trial is pushed back to AFTER the election, all bets are off.

This is getting very very interesting...

It should also be noted that Jim Greer helped try and purge Ron Paul supporters from the RPOF back in 2009.

^^^ Of course. Should we expect anything else but this to go on in every aspect of dirty politics?

Why do you call it Soros' Aspen Institute? Did he found it or what? Do you have any info about his association?

It's interesting though, this doesn't show Soros' affiliation with Aspen, but it does show Koch's.

Soros doesn't look like he's the only one who funds Aspen though.

What good would it do if the trial was after the election? ohhhh...get the Rubio voters then it doesn't matter after the fact.If he's implicated, they can throw him under the bus. Right?

Cute, Matt. Could you direct me to a specific credible source that shows that Soros is the major source of funds for the institute? Enough to earn your designation of "George Soros Aspen Institute".
