Arguing seriously on Fark is like stalking and terrorizing a clown by leaving cryptic, threatening letters inside his house for years and then, one day, popping out of some bushes and beating him to death with a string of spicy Italian sausages. I guess you can do it... but why?

People just post there to make generic jokes, mock the subjects of the articles, or mock people contributing to the thread. If you're going to win "hearts and minds" you'd do much better (or at the very least make more efficient use of your time) to look elsewhere.

I saw this earlier and posted it in bad media. I dont know enough about Article 5 to comment why Ron Paul hasnt taken this approach.

Because, given the makeup of America, we'd probably start out trying to repeal the 16th or 17th and we'd end up getting an amendment requiring the government to give everyone "free" healthcare and ponies (with pretty pink ribbons in their manes).

Unfortunately, the only way to get Ron Paul articles submitted on to Fark is to submit them with inflamatory headlines. The good news is that he gets attention, and is discussed. The bad news is that the most insane, obsessed anti-Paul freaks come out and rant incessantly about minute little details of his policies that really don't affect anyone.

They're damn good at arguing over there, they argue things down so the initial issue is no longer relevent, and it becomes a contest of endurance- who can argue the stupidest and longest.

You can try flooding the site with pro-paul articles, but I don't think you'll have any success. I've submitted hundreds with good headlines, and the first one I submitted with a snarky headline "Naysayers beware- Ron Paul's poll numbers have jumped to a shocking (gasp) SIX percent" got posted instantly.

And supposedly, the owner of the site, Drew Curtis, is a Paul supporter.
