They are looking for donations to put up Billboard in Tampa for the convention:

Posted states, "We want to put this billboard of Reagan and Paul up in time for Tampa next month. We have two-weeks to raise $8,000. Anything you can spare would help. If we don't reach our goal the money will be used to support Liberty candidates across the Country."

It is nice, but kind of seems to have Ron endorsing the caucus and his movement doesn't perfectly overlap imho. Aren't there other billboard projects going that are just RON's agenda?

Regardless if RP supporters are going to grow and not fade away these are the people I think you will have to build coalitions with, and down here regardless of what we think Reagan is the darling of the entire Party.

I wasn't speaking of the Reagan part but the RLC part, as if, if you support Ron Paul, you should support RLC. They have some good candidates, some not, and some real losers in their leadership, imho.

SOME branches of RLC endorsed Ron when Gary was still GOP, some did not, also. If this is the FLORIDA RLC which I believe did endorse Ron, I'd personally be happier if they had the local Florida chapter on the billboard. Otherwise it seems to be using Ron Paul's picture to get his supporters to join a group not all of which even endorsed his run.

Don't know their leadership, but as far as I've seen they support the same candidates that are supported here for the most part, but other than that I haven't really paid too much attention to the PAC's.

We have a lot more problems today than just the hostility of the current administration to big business. It's a hard time for entrepreneurs, for individual citizens and for anyone who wants less government in their lives.

There are candidates running under the Republican Liberty Caucus banner who offer more than the same old platform. They are willing to take on not just Obama, but his fellow travellers in the Republican Party. They are speaking up for capitalism and free trade, but also for less government in every aspect of our lives. They are the true patriots and they need your support.

Right now we have RLC candidates in key primary runoffs in Texas, in late-season primaries in many other states, and heading for the general election nationwide. Most of them rely primarily on lots of contributions from small individual donors and receive very little PAC money. We want to change that. If we can get enough funding for the RLCUSA federal PAC we can make a big difference in these high priority elections.

Take a look at the websites of some of our top candidates like
Justin Amash (http://amashforcongress.com/),
Jessica Puente Bradshaw (http://www.texansforjessica.com/),
Barry Hinckley (http://hinckleyforsenate.com/),
Steve Stockman (http://congressmanstevestockman.com/),
Dan Halloran (http://www.danhalloran.org/) and
Thomas Massie (http://www.thomasmassie.com/).
I think you'll agree that they have a lot more to offer than the average Republican candidates. They are running on the idea that we can have a better, stronger nation if we give the people less government and more liberty.

Your support for the Republican Liberty Caucus PAC will help these candidates and others like them to return the Republican Party to its real core values and bring control of the government back to the people.

The GOP has a great platform too, but the candidates don't all exemplify it. They back some of our guys, but that doesn't make their standards ours -- others they back are very different.

Others may differ but to me it is kind of insulting to have Ron's picture essentially endorsing, to his supporters and delegates, a group some chapters of which endorsed others over him.

I think some in the RLC are trying to coopt Ron Paul supporters, to be honest, and most PARTICULARLY the ones who fought all the way through the system to become delegates.

As I said, a chapter that had endorsed him wouldn't give me a problem.

Reagan sucked

True, but your Hannity-Levin-Limbaugh republicans think that he is God.

"Truth is treason in the empire of lies" works for me; and might for even the other-than-liberty republicans as long as they think it's about the currrent administration.
Give a couple of examples and then the quote. You can even keep Reagan there if you want. Like: Current policy A is NOT GOP platform item B; maybe end with Inflation IS A TAX. Just brainstorming.
