Who doesn't put their lives on the line? And most do so without being armed. And figure that while police officers will put on latex gloves to protect themselves while frisking those they consider to be unclean, even shooting and killing them in some cases to save themselves, by ethics, a firefighter will give their lives to save the same uncomely individual.

If police officers were required to have 5 years of customer service experience before joining the force, we might not have as many of these videos floating around the internet. I find that being friendly but assertive can go a long way towards avoiding situations where aggressive physical contact is necessary.

The mistake they made was not identifying themselves. You don't have to give them your ID (well, in my state anyway). They could have simply stated their names, and perhaps date of birth if required by law, and they would have been fine.

As is typical, all the piggies had chips on their shoulders.
