With $16 trillion in national debt, our country cannot afford spending on NASCAR racing promotion. It is time for the Defense Department to take some cuts, and this is one of the places that will not harm out troops.
Nobody is talking about cutting our troops pay to the point where they die of starvation. We are talking about cutting wasteful spending like NASCAR racing.
