The answer to the libertarian dilemma of personality politics. It's a cat, and only dogs don't like cats. It doesn't take pay, vacations, and it kills rats. With a steady diet of vermin and from the looks of it ribs he has been seated for 15 years. I would have to guess no bills are created or passed under him. Yes, I'm serious.

Forking awesome. When I lived in Alaska, our neighborhood voted every year not to pay the police, so the cops quit patrolling.

Ron Paul grassroots? Is this to recruit the cat as Paul's running mate?

The cat would be better than Romney or Nobama, for sure.

My cat regularly goes on our daily walk with our dogs. He walks right along single file but sometimes opting to stalk from the nearby treeline and choosing opportune moments to jump out, strike the dogs on leashes and run back to the woods.

This is why we need term limits.

We were (for a long time) under the impression that dogs ate bills. The media propaganda fooled us yet again.

I was just in that town last month, and went to Nagley's. I had no idea, damn.

With only 34% of republican voters strongly supporting Romney, it would probably be easier to nominate the cat than Paul...

Anyone wanna do it? Sure, try to nominate Paul first, but if that fails - what a perfect protest vote!

It looks like this town is in fact part of Anchorage, and therefore this town has no real power to create its own laws. Kind of like Hollywood isn't a real city, but just a part of L.A.

It is far from Anchorage.

There is no constitutional requirement that the presidential candidate be human, just a natural born citizen over the age of 35.
According to the interwebs, a 15 year old cat is the equivalent of a 76 year old human so close enough there.
I say if Ron is denied, Mayor Stubb's gets a nomination from the floor.
