It was kind of slow and tedious with the owner of the site but there will be a small banner pointing to teaparty07.com hopefully later today. I just sent the banner to the guy who will be putting it on the site. :)
I'll work on getting more banners placed next week. I have enough in my paypal currently to keep the ad on offtopic.com for the three weeks leading up to the event and enough to probably do one more site. So, if anyone is interested in helping to fund this project, send a donation to interleave1@earthlink.net

By the way - if you HAVEN'T seen them, there were some banners created (look in the dec 16 subforum) that update the number of "patriots" as the site updates and apparently they are working on having the site update automatically. This should be very helpful.

I'll be leaving for work soon. Have a great day guys.

can you post the graphic/ad so that we can see it?

It might also help with donations if people can see what they're donating for..

The ad will be placed on this site: http://thehousingbubbleblog.com/index.html
I'm not sure when. I've found response from the owner to be somewhat slow so I don't know about the guy who is placing the ad on the site.

What they are donating for is advertising - either text or banner, on various sites.
The two I have paid for so far are the one just mentioned which will hopefully be online today and for the text ad at the top of offtopic.com
I'm sure that trevor could enlighten us with some clickthrough numbers if we asked nicely. :)

The banners themselves vary depending on the requirements of the sites. I will be pushing these much harder at the beginning of the week as I have to work 24 hours out of the next 36

Hey Semetary..

I'm of the opinion that ads like this would be better directed to RonPaul2008.com than TeaParty07.com. I really think that fund raising drives like ours are more for the converted. Maybe I'm wrong, a Tea Party theme is novel and might draw someone in, but I would think we'll do best to preach to the converted for TeaParty07 and send them to Ron Paul if they've never heard of him before.

What do you think?

What do you think?Unless I'm wrong did not the last money bomb bring in over 20,000 new supporters to the main HQ.

I would assume those were people who knew about Dr. Paul but were on the fence for donating. But that is a good point. It's impossible to tell either way.

New DONORS, not necessarily new supporters.

People visiting the Housing Bubble Blog are VERY savvy and up-to-date on financial and political goings-on . . . they didn't drink the Kool-Aid with the housing bubble and are following the news religiously. I don't think you'll find many visitors who don't know of Ron Paul.

right but perhaps they haven't donated. The goal is to target sites where people already know about RP, but probably havent donated.

To bad that the ad on the housing bubble site is so small, I thought it would be larger at at the top.

The guy is a supporter but profit motive wills out. I would have had to pay for 3 months in advance (a waste of two months) to get a better position. A larger ad would have been $50 more for the month as well.
