If you're interested in what an America with Ron Paul at the helm might be like, I recommend the novel "Hope", by Aaron Zelman and L. Neil Smith, both well-respected authors in their fields and strong, long-time Ron Paul supporters.

It seems at times that it was written with the good doctor in mind, which may indeed be the case, although it was published in 2001.

Quotes from the order page at JFPO (http://shop.jpfo.org/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=20):

"See how one man drags a whole country, kicking and screaming, into the 21st century and makes it the century of the Bill of Rights. See how one man brings the grand ideas and ideals of the Founding Fathers back to life."

"From his office in the White House, President Hope labors to bring a swollen, murderous, runaway government under control by binding it ''with the chains of the Constitution'' -- an objective that would end at least 90% of all government activities -- while the enemies of liberty at both ends of the political spectrum (and within his own party, as well) attempt to obstruct, discredit, impeach, and even kill him."

You can read more about the book here (http://shop.jpfo.org/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=20).

I found a review online here (http://www.itsmynet.info/GARKO.blog/?p=772).

Note: I'm not a shill, I just have a copy of this book and think it's the best example of what a Ron Paul presidency might be like that I've seen.
