Its Iowa all over again. We had it locked up to the point where the governor stood in front of the media and told people how to vote.

Wonder how it feels to have no soul.

This article appears to tell us some very bad news.....of the 142 county delegates 72 are Romney people? That would mean that, if we took 100% of the uncommitted slots we lose 72-70. Am I missing something?

I don't know. I know both sides have been trying to pin down who supports who, including the governor. I think if they knew, they wouldn't be making those calls. I think we will find out this weekend.

It also says 'about 50 are uncommitted' with 15 backing Paul openly.

I don't know, I understand all the pressure is putting pressure on alliances as well. We will see.

If they state that we can't win maybe we'll stay home. /strategy?

This article is wrong here. Those are only the delegates who have submitted the paperwork and are eligible to go to national. There should be about 400 delegates voting on Saturday.

So, maybe thats where the "deal making" will happen. If Ron has large support out of the 400, who will they vote for? Who wants to go to tampa and are you ready to support a Paul delegate in order to go?

What happens when the 'uncommitted' delegates get elected- if there are 18 uncommitted and 17 romney delegates, will they report that 'uncommitted' won Nebraska, romney has 17 and Ron Paul 0 (i.e.: Colorado)?

I had read somewhere they will have to pledge at the state convention and would be committed for two rounds to whomever they choose.... not sure that is correct. I hope our voters will be very sure of our delegates, but they have done all of this grass roots, and I'm not going to armchair quarterback this late in the game.

Go, Huskers!!
