This will turn some heads! People will wonder about a Presidential candidate who excites people so much that his face appears on independent currency!!!

Wow, I knew this would generate more PR for Ron now if people can get mad and take it out by backing the TeaParty. Cool quote from the news papers about us. We are being watched so close.

News of the raid lit up Ron Paul online forums yesterday, the latest unlikely episode in a campaign that began as an idiosyncratic bid by the veteran congressman but has grown into a cause with the potential to influence the GOP contest

I am really kicking myself for not buying some when they first came out. If I had bought about 5, then sold them on ebay now, I could max out my donations easy. Pfffft, ah well, hindsight is 20/20.

This seriously makes me sick, I can't wait for HotHaus to take the feds to the cleaners in court (and maybe somethign done by the hundreds of customers whose money was stolen by the feds).

I hope the story grows. We can't lose the discussion. Gold and silver is written into the constitution.

I really didn't understand what was going on here yesterday or the significance of it all. I read a few articles today and I am shocked that the Fed thinks they can get away with this. What's next? Confiscate all the Disney Dollars they use at Disney Land?

They owe me $25 in Ron Paul Copper.

I have $150 in $5 silver liberties. Not sure if they're selling well on eBay... Not sure I want to sell them.

I agree.

This is outrageous. The next step will be to call all RP supporters terrorist, ...oops Glen Beck already did that.

I hope this story gets legs. It is all good for the campaign of RP.

I can't help but laugh at that guy's name, von NotHaus...

It means "of Hospital."

It means "of Hospital."Are you sure?:p

That would be Krankenhaus. You may be thinking of a NotArzt - emergency doctor.

An Emergency House, not quite sure what that would be though I could think of a few things:D

The seizure of the coins held an upside for those who have received their orders. On eBay, silver Ron Paul Dollars that were bought for $20 were selling for more than $300 last night.

I hope our $100 donations on December 16th see that kind of increase too!!!

I am sure Dr. Paul's legal beagles have him covered on this. I do not know what the Feds are talking about - this is by no means a counterfeit operation. Will they confiscate bus tokens all across the land? People use "real" money to buy bus tokens, so does this mean they are also guilty of money laundering??

The FEDs better be raiding every retail store in America! They are selling alternative currency as we speak! Gift Card!! They better go after the movie theatres to since they have token arcades! And last but not least, the credit card companies. You don't actually have money when you are spending it at the store. It's CREDIT!!!

I'm now seeing more than ever the oppressiveness of the government and the hypocricy of the people incharge and their power grab.

We've gone from longshot to "threatening to upend the battle for the Republican nomination." :D :D :D

I'm very satisfied with that one :)

Edit: wow, that article was exceptional. That was some seriously great press. Happiest I've been with any RP article so far, and I regularly check Google News for new RP stories.

Me too. What the gov't did is so absurd (but not surprising). This deserves to be a big issue.

From wp:

coins marked with the craggy visage of their hero [emphasis added]
How can anyone take someone who writes this seriously? What is the point of this? I mean really, it's no wonder I all but stopped reading about Dr. Paul in news media.

Don't forget the Federal Reserve protests - Dec 23.

I also enjoyed the line, "strict libertarian interpretation of the constitution"

what does that even mean?

Now THAT's not bad!

I agree, that was a very positive article towards Ron Paul. It definitely played him out to be a legitimate contender for the nomination and not just a fringe candidate

it's not really a german word, it is made up of "Not" and "haus" - if you try to translate it, it would mean something as "of miseryHouse" or "of needHouse" :D

so keep laughing ;)
