Here's a recent interview with my friend Bob Parker who's running against an incumbent RINO. He ran against the same lady before and lost, but got 35% of the vote. His budget was $38k, hers was close to $1m. Please help in any way you can.

And here's a rant from a local radio host about Bob's competition voting against the Smith-Amash amendment to the NDAA:

Did your friend triple the size of his budget this year? How does he expect to make up the difference in money and/or votes? There are 100s of pro-liberty people running for office right now. I know because there are over 100 running in NH alone. How does your friend stand out? I'm not trying to cause problems but I think it makes sense to try to sell your candidate to us.

He does have a much more organized campaign than last time. I don't know what's going on with his fundraising. I could call and ask, if you really need to know that before you can support him. People here are sick of Emerson and talking about it. Listen to the 2nd clip I posted above. Parker is campaigning his butt off. Like I said above, he got 35% of the vote on a tiny fraction of the opponent's war chest last time, and now he has name recognition and a grassroots army. Last time, he pretty much went it alone.

I can confirm that his campaign seems better prepared this time. I used to live in his district and follow him on Facebook. Things seem a bit more professional that this time around and he has gained experience during the first run. I also think his opponent has lost some of her appeal because of unpopular votes too and also some other shady deals. You can't run from your record forever.

Thanks, Monotaur. I've been trying off and on for years to get Bob some recognition and assistance on this forum. If all you can do is spread the word to other folks in MO-8, that would be greatly appreciated.

I actually found out about him last time from some other Paul supporters in my county, so I think most everyone in my network there knows about him. :)

Bob Parker is awesome. Rep. Jo Ann Emerson is a RINO who needs to be defeated. This district voted for John McCain 60-38%. It's a strong GOP district that should be given to a true conservative!

The problem is that she inherited the seat from her husband, who was much better, and people here don't really know about her record, they just know that they've always voted for "Emerson" so they keep on voting for her, despite the fact that she remarried, and her new hubby is a Democrat who supports Obama and a lawyer whose mainstay is representing labor unions.

Parker is in great need of campaign cash this final week before the MO primary so he can run radio ads. Listen to the ads (http://www.youtube.com/user/BobParker4MO8th), then please donate (http://www.electbobparker.com/contribute.html) what you can.

His opponent: Jo Ann Emerson is Another Republican Who Needs to Lose Her Job (http://bungalowbillscw.blogspot.com/2012/07/jo-ann-emerson-is-another-republican.html) - She has been caught making a donation to DNC Chairperson Debbie-Wasserman Schultz.

Absolutely!!! Emerson has had a ton of exposure on her voting record and other dubious deeds this go-round, and Parker has campaigned his butt off, adding much to his name recognition and respect in the district. He won 35% of the primary vote last time he ran, and I believe he's shifted a lot of minds in the last two years.

But why take chances? He has to run like he's ten points down no matter what. He needs help to cement his status, and he needs it NOW!
