Welcome to Free America

Welcome to Free America" describes America in the year 2057, 26 years after government has collapsed. The book is written as a guide for new immigrants. "Free America" is not a paradise, but it is prosperous and free, and manages to function in the complete absence of government. Readers may differ over whether the society described is a utopia or a dystopia.

I don't know any author who considers himself a "minarchist". I don't think Ayn Rand or Mises, presumably the kind of people you have in mind, considered themselves "minarchists". I haven't come across any "minarchist" at all, so I can't make any recommendation.

No. My point is that somebody who believes anarchism is wrong wouldn't call himself minarchist, because it would mean "partly wrong". In other words: you offend the people you want information about by calling them minarchists. Minarchist is offensive, in the same way that "social darwinist", or "trickle down theory" are offensive. The people to which you attribute those positions don't call themselves that. Ayn Rand or Mises wouldn't name their philosophies based on another word which represents a philosophy they consider wrong. Ayn Rand called herself a capitalist and Mises a liberal. They didn't call themselves minarchists. I'm offended when someone calls me "minarchist" as well.
