War on drugs................

How long before we see these on all our waterways?

"These gunboats are outfitted with bullet-proof panels, fully automatic machine guns and 900-horsepower engines. Their ability to cruise through the water at fast speeds is designed to not only serve as an intimidating force on the water, but also to fight back."

I never trapped anything but I had to help clean out a couple that were set for a pack of wild dogs creating havoc in the valley. Didn't enjoy that much...............

But yeah, fished up and down all the local creeks and small rivers. Crawdads, trout and salmon. We used to be able to take the logging roads halfway across the State, not anymore. They closed them down to the public a long time ago now.

Oh well, It's off to watch fireworks with some family to celebrate my liberty and freedom.

Oh hell, these things are popping up all across the US.

The maritime version of BearCats.

And cops love being on the water, since, unlike on the beach, cops and CG and stop you any time they want under the guise of a "safety inspection".

So, every time you turn around, you're liable to see a bunch of asshole cops of some sort or another (hard to tell anymore these days, every clown with a tin badge is an "officer" of some sort or another) charging around at 50 knots, burning 200 gallons of fuel an hour, looking for some hapless mundane to land on.

For the past decade, especially since 9/11, the U.S. military and other government agencies have shown a heightened interest in small, high-performance boats for use in theater and for homeland security. Now ubiquitous on waterways everywhere in the U.S. and abroad, the boats have become faster, nimbler, and more capable as industry has stepped up to the challenge of pushing the envelope.
