2012 has been a great year for Liberty Republicans. There are more Republican Liberty Caucus (RLC) candidates on the ballot this November than in year's past, so we can expect some great gains in our representation in both Congress and at the state level. But there is still a lot of work to be done. These candidates not only need your financial support, but they also need volunteers to work in their local areas. Following is a list of RLC members and endorsed candidates that are either in a primary contest or are on the ballot in November. I will try to update this as the primary contests conclude.

Btw Hedlund endorsed Romney and ran against the Massachusetts liberty slate of delegates*

And Sen. Hedlund currently serves on the RLC Board of Advisors along with Ron Paul.

Great list of candidates! I especially love the support for Jeff Flake, Mulvaney, Chabot, Cruz, and others! :)

And he also voted for a bill that would have given an unelected bureaucrat the authority to declare a swine flu emergency and enter your private property without a warrant and either quarantine you indefinitely, transport you involuntarily, or forcefully vaccinate you. They would have been able to destroy your property without your permission. No bureaucrat acting during the emergency could be held criminally or civilly liable of any wrong doing.

I think this thread needs to be renamed candidates the RLC has endorsed and not candidates that need the support of the liberty forest community

not surprising, Louisiana has no one on this list. :(

There are also no elected officials from LA, at any level of government, that are RLC members. There is a contact for LA listed on the RLC site though. Here is the link - http://www.rlc.org/about/chapters/LA/

I think this thread needs to be renamed candidates the RLC has endorsed and not candidates that need the support of the liberty forest community

The opening paragraph of the thread was very specific as to who these candidates are (i.e. RLC members of those endorsed by the RLC). You are free to start a candidate list of your own if you choose and support whatever candidates you wish to support.

The information provided here was to inform members of this forum which candidates have been endorsed by or are members of the RLC. The RLC endorsed Ron Paul for the GOP nomination. Dr. Paul is a past chair of the RLC and currently serves on the Board of Advisors. If I recall, he was one of the founding members of the organization as well.

Agreed. And the thread title is misleading

Agreed. And the thread title is misleading

How so? The RLC has been using the term "Liberty Republicans" for quite some time now.

Shemdogg,
You are free to support whoever you want to. Everybody has a different idea of what a "liberty candidate" is. tbone717 is simply giving us interesting news from the National Republican Liberty Caucus. He isn't demanding that we support these candidates. Pick a candidate and work had to get him/her elected. Let's not bicker over one candidate...it doesn't help the movement. Thanks! :)

Lol this dude ran against Ron Paul grassroots supporters who post on this forum

There are candidates with platforms and voting records in line with this forum's mission statement. *Those are candidates who need our help

There may be some overlap but at least one of the candidates on your list who I was able to instantly pick off is a threat... No matter what boards he sits on or however many times he's shaken Ron Paul's hand.* I hope your other candidates are better

Here is some polling data on the Senate races listed in the OP

AZ: Flake leads in primary polling by 22 points, and leads in a recent general election poll by 16.

CT: It looks like Hill is not even on the radar in CT. The primary race is between McMahon and Shays.

MN: It does not appear that Bills has any real challenge in the primary. General election polling shows Klobuchar up by 26 points. It will be tough to unseat the incumbent in this blue state, but Bills does have realistic shot at it given the overall trends in the country.

RI: There hasn't been any polling done in RI since February. At that time Hinckley was down by 28 points. The state does lean strongly Dem, but with the right amount of cash anything can happen.

TX: Polling for the run off shows Cruz down by 25, but the data is old (late May). This is one to watch to see if Cruz is able to mount a surge. Good news is that if Cruz wins, he is pretty much a lock in November.

So, out of the 5 Senate races it looks like at the very least one (AZ) will be won by an RLC candidate. CT seems like a lost cause to me, but the other three show some signs of life. With the right amount of cash and volunteers anything can happen. So, if you are a resident of these states, you may want to consider volunteering for the campaign.

The more folks we can send to the Senate to join Paul, DeMint and Lee the better. One is great, four would be ideal.

The Wes Riddle campaign has just received an endorsement from Ron Paul. Wes is a long-time RLC member, former Chairman of the RLC of Texas and with your help of even a small donation he could be the sitting in Congress.

Ron Paul said in his endorsement, ""I am proud to endorse Lt. Col. Wes Riddle (USA, ret.) for Congress. Wes is a committed patriot who graduated from West Point, served his country abroad as an army officer, and if he is elected to Congress, I am confident that he will fight every day to restore the Constitution and return to limited government. Liberty voters have a strong choice in this CD-25 Republican runoff. I hope my generous supporters will help Wes win this runoff because we need more men like him.”

Please give what you can to his moneybomb. http://www.wesriddle.com/home
