Still don't believe that will work with progressives.

Freaking progressives/leftists are just not having any sort of "argument" against the ruling. They are using the car insurance platform.

+1 Rep. I'd love to see the "little people" advocators of this bill squirm in their chair knowing that the "big ebil corporations" are in on it. Of course they'd probably throw some ad hominum remark from left field and call you a racist. *Takes a deep breath of fresh air* Ahhh! Fascism at its finest!

I was actually thinking about this during my jog this afternoon. I guess the proper view (correct me if I'm wrong) on this is that too (car insurance platform) is incorrect as well. Sure, you should have the free choice of not having to pay for car insurance. Just be understanding in that if you total your car and somebodies else's you'll have to pay it all to the best of your ability including an execution on wages. But then again, what if you don't have a job, or anything for that matter? I suppose that's way the non-risk taker has insurance in the first place to protect themselves from their own mistakes as well as those around them. I wonder though if this would lead to nobody getting car insurance? I don't think so since not everybody wants to live in jail... I think I might need some help on this one...It's late.

Here's a prediction (if Romney becomes pres), well it's actually just watching how it works:

Some relief will be passed on the healthcare penalty/tax, then just like when gas goes from 3.00 to 4.00 and then drops to 3.50 everyone goes, whew, that's better.

That is the essence of conservatism.

Oh yeah, I've heard it all today. I was diplomatic and may have made a few people go "ohhhh I didn't think of that [insert bad side effect of OC]" but I should screen shot some of the ridiculous arguments...er debates, I have had with some people today.

Very nice graphic... Clear as day, anyone should understand this.
I think this is a very effective way to dissect everything in politics.
Might be a good tool in waking people up.

Isn't this just another government created monopoly? Not only do start-ups have to comply with ridiculous rules and regulations, but now they'd have to get 'approved' or else their customers will be taxed for not having a government approved provider.

I'd actually say this is designed specifically for progressives. It won't convert all of them, but it should make them think.

Exactly, what do progressives fear most ? Big business... That, and it's a simple graphic, so anyone that is of voting age should understand it. I'd say it's perfect. (excuse my generalization.)

Well color me flattered. I actually made it because I hadn't sat and thought about the motivations behind OC since 2010, and when I was sitting here thinking about what incentives were where in regard to writing, passing, and approving the bill. It suddenly hit me and was so simple. Really everyone profits (except taxpayers). I've considered making several similar but putting dollar amounts and maybe adding pharm companies and others who have made money.

Thanks again everyone.
