the Philippines just got rid of a corrupt Chief Justice, and the constitutions of the USA and Philippines are quite similar.

Wouldn't Obama just get to replace him? Seems futile.

He did exactly what he was appointed to do - protect federal power.

Could there be another way to look at this? Could it be that Roberts decision just limited the powers of the Federal government over the states by not being able to use the Commerce Clause to force the states to do anything? Now the ACA is a tax could not Congress simply vote to cancel it? Ginsberg's decent blasts Roberts for this. Is something here?

You must spread some Reputation around blah blah blah...

Exactly right.

Why would the system impeach him?

He did exactly what he was supposed to do.

Because he did what democrats what him to do and republicans can't violate the 11th commandment which is Thou shalt not criticize other republicans.

In fact, come to think of it, that's why this whole mess is so screwed up. Democrats have their own version of the 11th commandment as well. The congressional black caucus voted against the bailouts until then candidate Obama convinced them that "yes" votes from them was the only way he'd get elected president.
