View Full Version : Major Opportunity?

CNN is re-thinking their model.

Could it be possible to persuade them to capitalize on the growing (and extremely active in new media) libertarian movement? Imagine the possibilities.

It wouldn't take much. Start offering people like the Judge, Schiff, Woods, Stossel contracts and they become the viable alternative to the other two cable news networks. They can't "out-neocon" FOX, and they can't "out-progressive" MSNBC, and they certainly can't "out-straight news" C-Span. But they can tap into this new and growing market.

And since most people are generally socially tolerant, but economically conservative, this new network, if created properly, could easily out-perform the others. And if that would happen, just imagine what that would do to the other 2 networks who try to remain relevant.

I think this is a huge opportunity, but we must get active. Unleash the emails! Let them see the potential.

If you want right talking points, go to FOX, if you want left talking points, go to MSNBC, if you want some common sense, CNN is your home.

I'd say that'd brand them better! Thoughts?

Lol not gonna happen buddyNot with an attitude like that!

I certainly think it's worth a shot to see how much noise we can make. Remember, they love ratings and money more than they love objective reporting. We can all attest to that.

Imagine the possibilities, then try to make them reality. If we all followed the premise that change toward liberty can't happen, then this site wouldn't even exist.

I would be more confident about CNN doing this and CNN being successful doing this if the Judge hadn't just lost his show on Fox a few months ago. That being said, they're is a huge hole for moderates, libertarians, socialist, and the rest of Americans who are fed up with the two party hypocracy.

This is a fantastic idea.

Not everybody at CNN is an intelligence/Bilderberg agent. It's a good concept. So you get people on your side, they run with good ideas, the agents have to now find a way to fight these good ideas and the people who have the vested interest in funding those ideas get to decide.

Yea certainly it would a step in the right direction with people like the judge and stossel on cnn it has the the potential of being a win-win situation higher ratings for cnn and increased exposure for our movement.

Judging by the amount of marijuana legalization coverage they've done at CNN in the last couple years, I'd say they already at least have a few Libertarian bones in there somewhere.

Yeah, thanks for the bump today.

Days like today should show a major cable network the appetite for real news, instead of team red vs. team blue news.

...While CNN struggles to make 24-hour news compelling

When was CNN last on for a 24 hours session?? Hell when they had to stay up to 1am for election results they could not even hold it together seriously.
