He should look at becoming a Sheriff. With that attitude I don't think he will make it far as a run of the mill L.E.O.

I am sure he is here under another moniker. Azxd was out of line for a while. I, for one, am happy he is "gone."

Why did you ever take it down?

Because people here tell me all cops are out to get me and the MIAC report says cops like to bother people with certain stickers.

So you are one of those people who have to be told what to do? You don't critical think for yourself?

Wow, I just read the "school teacher killed by police for rolling up her car window" thread. http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?360578-School-teacher-killed-by-police-for-rolling-up-her-car-window Don't know how I missed that one. I must have been lurking on a LVT thread. Got to go back through it and plus rep all the good folk.

I know a couple cops that are RP guys. They are very "rule of law" types, but acknowledge the law is broken and can see the detrimental effect it has had on their own positions. They know what's wrong, they're just not going to put their nice government benefit package on the line and go looking for a new career for it.

They do! But guess what I still have my car slathered in RP stickers. How about instead of being afraid of what might happen and basing your actions on that why don't you actually grow a pair and stand up for something in the face of the perceived danger.

Same thing happened to me, except the situation was more like your standard stop (speeding) but at the end he said:
Im not going to tell you how to plea, but I am not going to show up to the courthouse for this infraction... and I like your bumper sticker. Have a good day.

I have no doubt that there are some. I have met one personally at a Ron Paul event. I am in an area that still shows a modicum of respect,, up to a point. And that point seems to be changing. It is worse around urban areas though.

Those "good ones" will have to make some choices though.
I still see no need for a Police Force to exist at all.
