Listened to this guy's interview with Alex Jones and Stewart Rhodes today. Heartbreaking is all I can say. The way this guy got screwed over by people he trusted was just disgusting. This needs to go viral big time!

I'm finding myself donating to these little guys who keep popping up on Ron Paul forums, but I just don't have enough money to take on all the assholes in the world.

I didn't hear how much money he needs for us to just bail him out, pay off all his obligations and set things right

We need to contact Ben Swann.

I already posted on his FB page, but it might help if a few more people do so it would at least get the attention of the people who stop in for reality checks.

How did he end up with a mortgage at age 89?

How did he end up with a mortgage at age 89?

From what I gather, he had to cover his wife's medical bills so, I don't know, I'm guessing a reverse mortgage of some sort. I don't really want to comment so much on that since I don't know what the details are.

He's probably not entirely blameless (entering a contract with the bank, if that's what happened), but I put most of the blame on our monetary policy affecting the oldest generations. When you consider the fact that $100 was a month's pay when he was my age, and now $100 won't even get you halfway through a grocery store, it shouldn't be hard to pick a side in this fight.

Good idea. On it with ya. :)

Healthcare payments, and inflation. Like he said.

He should put cement in all of the plumbing and flood the basement. Hell, if they're going to take his home, why not burn it down. What are they going to do, throw a 89 year old man in Prison for burning down his own house?

That's a shame - most reverse mortgages don't require repayment until the property is sold. He must have gotten a bad deal. Living until 89, he could have screwed the banks.

Maybe that bullied bus monitor can throw some this guy's way. I suspect he's received a fraction of what she's gotten.

ETA: $8,835.30

To some, being bullied by some middle school brats is far worse than being bullied by the state. But not to me. I donated $20.00.
