View Full Version : Is George Washington electable?

Assuming he was magically resurrected, and ran on the platform that he did when he was president. Would his name and legacy cause him to win, in spite of his values now being something of the past? What party would he run as, if any at all? What would be his first point of business should he be elected? Do you think he would set this country on the right path?

George Washington woud have been an evil pothead to the Right. Weak on national defense (didn't want to follow the redcoats back to England). Didn't worship the government as a pure-as-the-new-fallen-snow entity.

The Left would accuse him of not caring for the poor, letting corporations run wild, and being unsympathetic to others suffering around the world.

Yeah. I can well imagine that since George Washington grew hemp, then he likely made some brownies too.
