Future South Carolina Senators: Tom Davis and Lee Bright!

They are both already state senators, with state party support, and have a great chance.

I'd hate to send such decent men to washington, but Georgia avenger is right. These guys have only to say the word and we will send them to the U.S. Senate.

I received a Robo call from the Bright campaign that mentioned Ron Paul. I loved how he advertised his support around here. Wish I could have voted for him I'm just 20 miles from his district.

Graham's seat is up in 2016. Demint 2014. Looking into my crystal ball I see Davis and Demint in 2016. That'd be good.

Demint already said he's not running for reelection.

Demint already said he's not running for reelection.

“I limited myself to six years in the house, and I’m going to limit myself, pending some unforeseen circumstances, to 12 in the Senate,” DeMint said. “If you see the finish line you can give it all you got.”

Your probably right though. He seems to be a man of his word.

Anyway though, Awesome about Bright.

DeMint will make Rand a fine VP.

DeMint will make Rand a fine VP.

OR vice versa.

I may not have been clear, but I meant DeMint would be a fine VP for President Rand. ;)

Compared to a Romney Rubio ticket, you gotta know we would/SHOULD be thrilled with demint/rand with either being at the top of the ticket, and yeah I understood what ya meant. heh.

I would support DeMint.

He isn't perfect, but I have a certain level of trust for him.

When you see someone battling the Fed and fighting for national sovereignty(LOST), you can't help but like them.

Looks like SC State Senator Kevin Bryant also won against his primary challenger.

SC State Senator Kevin Bryant endorsed Ron Paul as well, had a similar challenger and won tonight as well.

So proud of my home state of South Carolina tonight. Ron Paul Republicans are winning. Everywhere.

We should start planning for Davis to take the mantle from Demint in 2014.

DeMint retires in 2016. Davis will run against Graham in 2014, and I think he'll win. He's spending this whole summer speaking at Republican events all over the state.

There's some speculation that DeMint will return to SC in 2014 and run against Nikki Hailey for Governor. If he wins then he will probably appoint Mick Mulvaney to finish his term.

So if that all worked out right, it would make it:
SC Governor: Jim DeMint
US Senator: Tom Davis
US Senator: Mick Mulvaney

That sounds like a winning combo to me.
