All you guys - thanks so much for your service. We are all very proud of you and your support for the good doctor speaks volumes. That scum and cowards like Rush and Hannity and Beck have the gall to disparage you guys goes beyond insulting. It is beyond common decency. And the way the government treats veterans is unforgivable.

Originally wanted to be an MP, went to MEPS, found out my eyesight wasn't good enough, so my helpful friendly recruiter suggested "Legal Services". That's close right? lol Well I wound up General Admin, though in retrospect I'm glad I didn't wind up with Legal Services! I will say that my experience got me going with computer skills. Worked at Training Support Division, which became Range Operations Division with a lot of 1371's and an assortment of others on FAP to take a break from the fleet. Not a bad place to be. Can't believe I'll have been out ten years in January. Time flies. Kind of miss California sometimes, but I'm glad I don't have to deal with their gun laws, etc. Illinois is bad enough.

Dumb jokes aside,
Thank you for your service, I planned on joining the Marines after highschool but with 9/11 happening in freshman year and the following wars I decided against it. I want to serve my country and shield my constitution, not fight needless wars and participate in nationbuilding. I allready play my part in that free of choice by being forced to pay taxes. So thus I go to college, work, and support Ron Paul and the rEVOLution.

My reason for asking if there was a veterans thread is this--

To mobilize (sorry for using that term, but it fits) some sort of Vets for Ron Paul group.
Visit Vet hospitals, talk to people about being a Vet when we are out passing out slim jims, whatever, just a place to go to get ideas and what's worked or not. I think we have a huge untapped force out there guys, what say we get it together?????

Me, onl left in white tee, getting vets to sign banner. WW2, Vietnam, Desert Storm, etc Ron Paul signed first.

My granddad served as a guard in the royal court of Denmark 1901-1902

My dad served as an MP in George S. Patton's Army 1941-1945

I served in the Army 1986-1989 63golf fuel and electrical repair
honorably discharged w/medical

I hated the army but I admit it was not always destructive.

An average of 120 veterans each week commit suicide. Far more than the casualties officially counted. Yet another fact of war not often noticed by our duped and asleep culture.

Thank you all for your service.

I'd like to invite ALL of you guys to write for us on www.WeAreRonPaul.com ! It's going to be a brand new website where people can write a little about themselves and why they support Dr. Paul. Fully searchable by Age/Location/Issue, I know it would mean a lot to have a section where military (or ex-military) men and women supported Ron Paul's foriegn policy.

That would be great. Several of my veteran buddies are big Ron Paul supporters. Let us know when the site is up. Right now it appears to be a parked website.

Yes, we had this idea about 24 hours ago. Hopefully in the next 24 it will be up and running :)

West Point class of 1999, only stayed for the first year 1995-1996. Didn't think being sent to death by the UN was a valid use of U.S. Military Personnel. Most other cadets echoed my sentiments.

Needless to say, I was excited when I found out about Dr. Paul.
