This just came over my Facebook feed from her (emphasis added):

Peggy Fikac and I discussed whether the TEA Party and liberty subsets of the Republican Party were really just the same folks. I don't believe they are. While there is overlap, I'd say generally they principally differ in their view of the proper role of government. How would you define? Are they the same?

*Note: She's obviously not speaking of the Tea Party that was originated by the Ron Paul R3volution, but the TEA Party that was co-opted by Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, et al.

If someone ever asks me about the "tea party" I will ask them which one. The one when it began or the one that was commandeered.

I like the new description that I'm hearing, describing us as the Liberty Movement.

Her description rings true from what I saw at the Texas GOP state convention.

Yeah. Debra can run as president this coming election.

I really like Debra. However, she is not cut out for a Presidential race yet. She doesn't have Ron Paul name recognition & she couldn't beat Perry in the gubernatorial race (A man who embarrassed himself in the Presidential Debate stage).

I would love to see Debra run for a Texas-wide office. She is very well known in Texas & she seems to focus on Texas issues with her organization "We Texans". Perhaps she could run for Governor again, or maybe even a Congressional seat if she could pry herself away from Texas politics.

I want Debra to run for something. She will have my complete support. But not President. Too fast too soon.
