Even the police dogs don't like the police anymore.

excerpt:

Gunner recently demonstrated serious aggressive behavior, the Sheriff’s Office said, and the deputy took the dog to a veterinarian for options available to help curb the dog’s aggression.

While at the clinic, the handler, a 23-year veteran of the department, and the veterinarian were attempting to leash Gunner. Gunner jumped up with his jaw open to bite and lunged toward the handler’s face.

The handler was able to block the bite with his forearm, and the dog latched on to his arm. The dog refused to let go and continued to aggressively bite the handler.

The handler was forced to use his department issued weapon to protect himself from additional injury, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Difference?

The dog was shot only after he attacked.

You have no idea what the officer might have done to the dog before this. It might have been justified. who knows, the guy might have been forcing interspecies erotica on the poor animal.

Shit, you're right.

I'll report myself for cop bashing.

The officer was about to take the dog to an Obama roast, if you know what I mean.

Seems to me when you train an attack dog for use BY YOUR DEPARTMENT, YOU SHOULD ALREADY F#&%ING KNOW HOW TO HANDLE DISPLAYS OF AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR INSTEAD OF RELYING ON YOUR DIPSHIT LOCAL VET.

I'll bet you the dog made a thread search on AF's account and was disturbed with all the news of cops killing dogs. Blow back?

Police dogs are still considered cops right... because that sure would explain the

demonstrated serious aggressive behavior

I've trained dogs to do Schutzhund work and when "properly" trained they won't show aggression unprovoked.

99.9% of the time if a dog is exhibiting aggressive behavior toward it's human it is the humans fault.

a genetic disorder caused the dog to attack the cop? interesting.

I've known most dogs to have a "genetic disorder" that causes them to eventually defend themselves.....

There are lots of cops who treat their dogs as they would one of us and unlike most humans, most dogs won't put up with physical abuse for long.......especially if they've been trained.
