So when he talks about the dangers of the NDAA, you can boo, or what?
Be careful not to spite your face by biting off your nose. Or maybe, go out tonight, have some margaritas and cool off. :p

Logon and boo. It's as sane as being mad for endorsing the only candidate left who can win.

Can someone boo a little extra for me?
You people who want to boo Rand Paul are being somewhat hypocritical...sorry I have to say this. I did not hear any of you booing Rep. Ron Paul when he endorsed SOPA author Rep. Lamar Smith:
Dear Fellow Texan,
As you know, America faces tremendous problems. I have dedicated my career to fight for solutions, but I need friends in Congress who will help and work with me in these critical times.
That is why I am grateful for the friendship of Congressman Lamar Smith. Lamar Smith is a thoughtful, intelligent leader who keeps his door open to me and is always willing to listen. As the ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, Rep. Smith's word carries a lot of weight on Capitol Hill and I am glad to see he fights to take principled stands on important issues like Healthcare and Cap and Trade.
Congressman Smith made a point of reading both of my recent books, The Revolution: A Manifesto and End the Fed and I enjoyed our discussion. True intellectual exchange has become all too rare in Washington and I appreciated his effort.
Lamar is also one of the true gentlemen in Congress. I value Congressman Smith's thoughtful approach and consider him a true friend. If more leaders in Washington adopted his style of governing, I know we could break down a lot of barriers.
I am proud of my friendship with Lamar Smith. I hope you will consider supporting him in his bid for re-election.
In Liberty,
Ron Paul
I don't support booing anybody just because they make an endorsement I don't agree with. I still consider Rep. Ron Paul and Senator Rand Paul to be two of my conservative heroes. In fact, I would still remain friends and supporters of and with people whom I disagree with. Think about how unique this movement is...we agree on the basics, but we can disagree on certain specifics. Some believe anything that has to do with foreign countries is "foreign intervention", others aren't as rigid. Some think 9/11 was a government hoax, others really believe that 9/11 was a terrorist attack. Some believe that we should turn our country into an anarchy, others believe that we should maintain a democratic-republic. We all disagree on certain ideas, beliefs, and endorsements, but we all agree on the basics...that our country is in a national deficit crisis, we need to reduce our foreign intervention, government take-over of healthcare is unconstitutional, the Constitution is the law of our land. These are some basics we agree on.
I'm friends with Democrats. I don't agree with them, but I don't boo them or act disrespectfully to them in any way. We need to fight for our beliefs, but we still need to remain respectful even with those we disagree with.
If you want to boo Senator Rand Paul, that is your choice and 1st Amendment right. There is nothing I can do to stop you. But before you do, ponder and think about what you are doing. Is it right to publicly humiliate a man over one disagreement. I think not. I hope each person will think before they act. Thanks.
I STAND WITH THE WHOLE PAUL FAMILY!

Yuck I didn't know he endorsed that goon. Politics is gross.
Logon and boo. It's as sane as being mad for endorsing the only candidate left who can win.
Would Ron Paul agree with your booing? Would he be proud to call you his supporter? I don't think so.

Lamar Smith as an individual has little power to change policy of this country. I don't agree with Ron's endorsement but Rand's endorsement and support of Romney is very dangerous in that a Romney presidency will possibly lead us to war with Iran. As Rand has said many times, the issue of war is the most important to him and actively trying to make Romney President will not help us one bit in trying to stop another war.

I agree. Sometimes I get upset with politicians that I like a lot, but I tell myself to calm down and remain respectful. Booing or being disrespectful is never the way to go.

I'll be there, and i'll cheer, and I don't even really like Rand but he is on our side and he is one of us despite what you guys want to think.
Frankly, this is what you people get for living in a dream world for the last 3 months. The writing was on the wall but you refused to see it and destroyed the people here on the forums who tried to show you the light. If you play with false fed money and inflate the economy you get a false prosperity and eventually the bubble bursts back to reality, we all know and admit this, but for some reason we don't seem to realize it works the same way with ideas.
If you pump yourself up with dreams not based in logic or fact eventually the bubble will burst you back to reality.
Welcome back guys.

Uhhh...most of us knew the possibility of Ron winning required an unforeseen miracle. That doesn't change the fact that Rand had to openly support Romney and say that he will actively campaign for him. He could have easily gone quiet like probably 30 other Republican Senators and just make vague statements about supporting the GOP nominee. To endorse a particular individual is very troublesome in that it says you will tolerate the views and ideas you don't agree with (war and civil liberties) to get things you do agree with (which I don't know what there is).
