Some MTV producer likely approved this little bit of pop-revolution.

I guess that the handy part for them is that the message is ultimately associated with the famous madman Charlie Sheen.

Coincidence or a more subtle cultural engineering?

I think Charlie Sheen is the only one in that audience that knows what hes talking about lol

I'll bet there are some madmen on here.......:D I didn't even recognize that as Charlie Sheen because I was right in the middle of looking up at the sky at how right Russell Brand is! This video has risen to a whole new realm of "hmmmmmm" now. Priceless!

I find it very hard to believe that Russell Brandt said anything poignant. I would love to see a clip of this, it's probably just him ripping off Carlin and doing a bad job of it, while not even knowing full well what he's talking about.

Only watched like 5 minutes of that vid, but from what I see he's using big pretty words to pontificate about how everyone is essentially starstruck and hungry for celebrities, all the while he's sitting in a schmuck of a suit and pitching his book.

keep watching, he talks about how he was once starstruck and hungry to be a celebrity but once he got their it wasn't what he though and wants to use his fame to point out how celebrities are used to entice people to believe the narratives of the media even when the celebrity doesn't agree with the narrative. Its a great interview I think. made me have a lot more repsect for him

What did he say??

From the only short clip I found that hasn't been pulled,, ( and clips are being pulled)
he was going off on the false left/right politics. And calling it out as a sham.

I knew that,, and don't generally look to comedians or celebrities for political advice.

It is not so much of a bad thing as comedians goes to me, but not so much with celebrities. But I think comedy is a great way to tell the truth on things as it has a way to make people laugh at their own madness. Dave Chappelle, Joe Rogan are some really smart guys that have a lot of truth in there comedy as well as many others.
