These are relatively cheap and if we all bought them for networks with an ad that leads to the teaparty website we'd reach a huge market.

Anyone can make a pretty eye catching image for facebookflyers we can all use?

I tried this at my school to help promote by group but no kudos. I think I did the 5,000 views for $10.

I'd do the click-thrus, getting people to meet-up is hard, but getting them to signup for the teaparty just takes them a visit to the website, so even if you only pay for 200 click thrus, if even only 10 of them sign up for the teaparty, that's $1000 in donations for a $10 expenditure.

good initiative, if there are positive results it could be done over and over

yeah, I think the return on facebook flyers is pretty good, and almost all young people are on facebook, and we do tend to have success with the youngins if we can drive them to the videos and blogs

That's an excellent point.

$10 --> $1000, or even $500... is a GREAT return on investment. Especially when that money will not only be used for the campaign, but for free publicity just from the sheer amount raised!

Can I pay for, let's say, $10 or $20 worth of these, just on my own? (without going through the campaign, a PAC, etc.) Assuming yes...

If someone designs a quality flyer, I will personally put up $20 worth--that's 400 click-thrus? I'm sure others will join me in putting up many more than that.

How would we point them to both the videos AND the Tea Party page, though?

couldn't the official teaparty banners be used?

that works for me, just make sure to buy some flyers on facebook, $10 from each of us will yiled a very large return and in best case secnarion, 100% return = $20,000 or worst case %1 = $100, youg et a return no matter what.

Would you mind sending me a summary of how this works so that I can include it in the newsletter?

I'm currently trying a one week ad through Feedburner advertising the newsletter. $25 for 1 week, estimated 4,000 views.

I'd like to start compiling some comparisons of results.

When logged on to facebook, at the very bottom of the page there is a link for advertisers, just click on that and it walks you through step by step. You can define your ad,who you want to see your ad. and What you want to pay.

You can choose an image some text and title for your ad then... you decide who you want to see your ad.

Like I did Conservative Ohioans in college over 18, it'll tell you how many people are in that group, like that alone had about 40k people

Then you decide how much you want to spend b choosing a bid price, so I could bid .01 for every click through, but it'd be the bottom priority as far as what ad will show up. Plus you can set a budget, like the max I want to spend each is $10, so at .01 per click the max I can get each day is 1000 click thrus.

I can either set it to run on certain days, or I can leave it continuously and turn it off when I'm done.

Bump... I got all of what you said and am ready to do that with $20 worth... but I still am not sure what image to use? I think it should be something eye-catching, with a few (2-3) major policies listed, in a R3VOLUTION style... and it has to be thin and tall, right?

Bump... come on guys... I want to put this out, and get 400 new people ON the Tea Party website!

Just point me to a good Facebook banner, and I'll do the rest. As will others...

Sorry, my mistake, it's text! I thought it was a banner. Ok, it's all set up and done! :)

Hey anyone, if you see these on Facebook, please don't click through on them--we pay by the click through, so we want NEW people clicking on them. :)
