Requesting assistance to get several Libertarian Party candidates on the ballot. We need 7,500 valid signatures for President and US Senate (they're on the same petition), and 2,500 for each Congressional District by August 8th (currently we only have a candidate for the 2nd Congressional District - Eastern Connecticut). Even if you only put your name on the petition and get a few family members to sign, it adds up when hundreds of people are doing the same thing.

Any registered voter in Connecticut can do this. You don't have to be a member of the Libertarian Party. You can find the forms here:

http://www.lpct.org/2012/05/23/petitions-are-now-available-and-online/

Just print off one side on 8.5" x 14" legal paper, flip it over, and print out the other side. Fill out the parts in red in the picture below, then take it to the Registrar of Voters at the town hall and they'll have you fill out the parts in green.

Please ask the town clerk for a double sided copy and mail the copy to:

LPCT
PO Box 4069
Yalesville, Connecticut 06492

All help is much appreciated.

Petitions for the 5th district - Northwestern Connecticut, have been added in the same link.

Also, we have Acknowledging Officers (a notary public and a couple Justices of the Peace) working with the LP, so if you'd rather have them picked up rather than take them to the town hall, get copies, and mail the copies, we can do that, too. Send me a PM or an email to enoch150 AT aol.com to do that. If you're having trouble printing them off, I can have petition forms mailed to you.
