I always wondered what it would be like to have a city that is configured in a way that it has several sectors of the community based upon the Nolan Chart:

You may divide the city up where the churches and big businesses are in the east and the museums and communes are in the west while the government center/main ruling church is in the south with a sort of split up market in the middle with the north being unregulated.

Each sector could have their own form of government and collect money and distribute it as desired. I could see some parts of the east good for raising a family and focusing on raising kids in a religious manner while the west side would be very hippyish and good for going out and partying while being able to get taken care of if you fall into hard times. The south would be like DC, a haven for all those who enjoy running people's lives. The north would be made up of many self-sufficient property owners and small businesses with thriving markets.

Of course, everyone being so close may end in clashes or walls built up to keep the "others" out.

What do you think?

Isn't that the free state protect?
You know move all the libertarians up north to New Hampshire, leaving states like cali, and the bible belt, to fend for themselves?
