Good interview with Judge Napolitano on Huckabee's radio show, I think it was from today.

Does this mean he's now against forfeiting our assets to fight unconstitutional wars?

haha, there's a new phrase I'm using more and more in response to absurd government response / intervention into our lives... I simply say...

'libertarian, yet?'

I honestly believe most people are Libertarian principled yet just don't know it. Instead, the elites have boxed everyone into this false paradigm of Left vs Right, Liberal vs Conservatism and Democrat vs Republican. Heck, the word "liberal" in the early 1900s use to mean classical liberalism, hence libertarian or very limited government. Today, liberals are nothing more than fascists who see everything through the scope of government. Government is god to them.

If words are being misused to described people, how can people ever wake up out of their trance or description of themselves?

Almost issue by issue, unless one is a hard core Socialist, Marxist or Commie, people lean Libertarian.

I ask of those reading this (peaking at this site for some deep intellectual knowledge), what is wrong with the idea that you have a right to your life and a right to your private property? You have a right to live your life as you see fit as long as you don't harm or steal from another. Again, what is wrong with that basic libertarian principle?

almost everyone is partly libertarian, in that we are all concerned with our own liberty, but not so much our neighbors' liberty. in the same way that all men want justice for their neighbors, but mercy for themselves. most people are fine with authoritarianism being the rule, while liberty is a rare privilege, so long as they are among the few who enjoy that privilege. even cops are obsessed with their own liberty, whether or not they give a rat's ass about yours.

until people realize that their own precious liberty is a phantom, without the universal recognition of everyone else's liberty, society will remain in a perpetual state of authoritarianism.

Yes, I suspect when he was governor he felt much differently about that.
