So we’re on Friday. If anything, time at Porcfest seems to slow down unlike the month before it…where it feels like time has sped up. While writing up these posts I have thought about the last few years and how Porcfest forces myself, and many people like to me, to take a break and enjoy one another’s company in real life for a short period of time each year. We get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of the system of survival, sometimes we don’t get the chance to really socialize, at least with people we really want to socialize with…
Alright, so by now, things are in full swing! Let’s review the Porcupine Freedom Festival’s Friday Lineup:
Friday morning at Porcfest 2012 includes a variety of options. If you don’t sleep in, you can catch day two of the Appleseed shoot. We also recommend that you check out Dr. Tony Lowenburg’s talk on “The Medical Industrial Complex: Why do we spend so much to be sick?” and we also recommend Anti-War.com’s Angela Keaton who will be speaking to us about antiwar outreach later in the morning.

Daily Crafts with Mel: Same bat time, same bat channel with choice of Magic Bottles or Straw Weaving for Friday’s craftiness.
How about a workshop for the young entrepreneurs? At 3 PM teens (and tweens) can join Art Haines for a workshop on Creativity and Entrepreneurship just for them.
Join Joy at 11 AM for Minute to Win It games and at 4 PM for Rice Planets. She will be assisting in making your own version of the Whedonverse’s ‘problematic food’ (see image).
Flaming Freedom’s Bigger Gayer Dance Party busts into the afternoon with all sorts of fabulessness. Join Flaming Freedom where they will be giving out prizes for outfits, hosting a raffle, and just being all out gay. Proceeds will support Flaming Freedom in their efforts to get the liberty message out to the LGBT audience and to educate the liberty-loving community on LGBT issues. Get your tickets here>>
If getting dolled up and dancing the afternoon away isn’t your cup of tea, join us for the Austrian Economics Panel with Murphy, Powell, & D’Amico followed by Bill Buppart’s “Resistance & Rebellion: Why Empires Fall Over Time”. We won’t judge if you show up to one of these looking fabulous.
Returning this year is the Liberty Ladies of New Hampshire’s One-Pot Cookoff! Contestants create concoctions for the judges to taste. Winner get the entry fees! Become a contestant (FREE) or a judge/taster ($8) when you register for Porcfest here>>
