Sorry that the tabs don't work, but the three numbers represent the three polling dates with the most recent first; eg, Rudy's support has gone from 28, down to 25 and finally down to 20%.

Dr. Paul went from 1 to 1 to now 2%.

I'm not believing Huckabee and Tommy Thompson (the "chipper" as in injectable microchips), are ahead of the good doctor.

I don't like to sound like a conspiracy guy, but as time goes by I have less and less faith in their "scientific" polling. As far as I'm concerned, it's nothing but propaganda until proven otherwise...

It's a racket...

Correct: it's nothing but propoganda, intended to influence the genpop.

It is interesting that Rudy's support is eroding...

But it is hard for me to trust any of this, To say that RP only got a 1% boost, after all of this is beyond me....

I must have no understanding of the demographics in the United States, or this is beyond criminal....

Wait? If I remember correctly, they were removing RP from some of the polls because he wasn't a serious candidate, right? Wow I'm so glad those people have our interest at heart and decided to do our work for us....

Cook is a very well respected political analyst. All polls this early mostly reflect name recognition. One, Dr. Paul doubled his support! Ok, from 1 to 2% More importantly is shows him moving up and the top tier moving down. Since we've not run ads or anything like that yet, we shouldn't rush to kill the messenger.

The polls aren't completely unreliable, but it does seem odd to me that Paul is behind Huckabee.

Has anyone ever actually met or spoken to a Huckabee supporter? Ever? Where are they all hiding, to get him up to 3%?

Bradley in DC,

Thanks for the post. I like your posts and information you give in general. I'm just venting a little frustration.

...as his name and platform recognition increases.

Wait until we have another big war debate in September (about the surge). This will go BADLY for the neo-cons!

As long as Ron Paul remains the only republican war opponent, and the most principled and reliable war opponent running for President, I think his numbers will increase while others will fall.

We just need to get out there and increase his name recognition! The internet & letters to the editor are good ways to do that, beyond talking to friends and family.

Keep hope (for America) alive!!!! :D ;) :D

Flattery might not get your everything, but it'll get you (us) pretty far.

Yeah, for the first time, I actually feel like Dr. Paul is getting ready to blast off. If we can just blow through the next barrier level. Anyway, that's how I feel.

Let's all get busy on Letters to the Editor.
