Background:
Oklahoma is entitled to 43 National delegates, 40 of which are allocated per the result of the March 06 Primary (14 Santorum, 13 Romney, 13 Gingrich). The remaining 3 "Bigwig" delegates are unpledged, but will likely support Romney in Tampa.

Importance:
At the CD Conventions in March and April, Liberty patriots won 9 of 15 National delegates, along with at least 9 alternates (There is the possibility of picking up 3 more delegates, as the results of the CD-1 Convention are being challenged). The State Convention will select 25 more delegates and alternates for Tampa. Because the delegates for Santorum and Gingrich will likely be unbound in Tampa, Dr. Paul will probably control a plurality of delegates for the purpose of qualifying him for the Presidential nomination ballot under Rule 40(b) (http://www.gop.com/images/legal/2008_RULES_Adopted.pdf), if he can sweep the 25 delegates at State this weekend.
Oklahoma Liberty delegates and alternates, please attend your Convention this weekend, then post on this thread your accounts of what transpired. Thank you!
Also, FYI, on that Mitt Romney chat that night of the ME/NV coup, the Romney supporters were gloating about a "surprise waiting for the Paultards" at the OK conventions. I hope the grassroots are ready and prepared.
