The RNC asked other candidates to do joint fundraising as well. Don't make this a bigger deal than it is.

Acknowledging that the nomination fight isn't over, the RNC also invited other candidates to participate in joint fundraising, but with little expectation they would agree, RNC officials said. A spokesman for Newt Gingrich said he didn't plan to work alongside the RNC. Rick Santorum's campaign said they had no plans to join forces, but "would be happy to raise money with the RNC." Ron Paul's campaign declined comment. It makes little sense for challengers scrapping for cash in the primaries to ask donors to give large sums to the party, GOP operatives said.

They're all in on "cheating to win", so they can count me out when they beg for support against Obama. No difference between the two except in the ways they are personally creepy and weird.

All the other candidates are Establishment though. We aren't in their private little organized crime circle.

Are the other candidates uncontested or with permission from their state GOP committee? Because I am fairly certain Iowa at minimum has not agreed to waiving rule 11.

It's also not just about Ron Paul.

Besides Romney, there's still 8 Republican candidates running:
http://2012.republican-candidates.org/

Romney is NOT the nominee.

Don't mess with this guy. Romney and the RNC is messing with this guy:

Precisely. It's about the rules.

What rules? The RNC gave all other candidates the same option to do joint fundraisers. If Ron Paul accepted, you would see the exact same language on Ron Paul's campaign website.

Why would Ron Paul accept something against the rules?

Why would Ron Paul accept something against the rules?

It isn't. Why would the RNC make a rule that would keep candidates from raising money FOR the RNC? They wouldnt.

Do you see the loophole here?

I think it is pretty obvious, its not a loophole either. This is Romney supporting the RNC, not the RNC supporting Romney over any other candidate.

I don't see that at all.

We've already established that the RNC has been breaking Rule No. 11 prior to this photo.

Why is the fund called the "Romney Victory Fund" then?

Yes, well that is unrelated to this.

Why is the fund called the "Romney Victory Fund" then?
Because they are fundraising it in union with the RNC?
I'm sure if I could raise enough money for them they'd let me create a "specs is superduperawesome fund".

I also have my own screenshots of this if it were needed as additional evidence.

So if I donated to the RNC today, I can rest assured the funds would go toward promoting Ron Paul, right?

I think not.
