WASHINGTON (AP) Mitt Romney has won the Indiana, North Carolina and West Virginia presidential primaries.

The trio is certain to push Romney closer to the 1,144 delegates he needs to clinch the GOP nomination, handing him 100 or so delegates of the 288 he still needs.

None of the outcomes is a surprise. Romney faces no serious challenge to the Republican nomination.

Please break link. And I find the AP to be seriously intellectually challenged. News of the state, not of the news.

After we took over the Maine convention, but before the totality of our victory was clear, a Portland-area radio station covered the event as follows

1. Intro - the convention is ongoing
2. Play a clip of Susan Collins stating that Romney will surely be the national nominee
3. No mention of Ron Paul
4. Cut to a story about a bird's nest.

It certainly fits this template.
