These radical Islamists also have attacked in Bali, Indonesia, and in Madrid, Spain. Neither Indonesia or Spain have America's level of overseas bases. And the militant Islamists attacked a Jewish community center in Argentina and a Jewish school in France. How is America's interventionist foreign policy to blame for that?

How is America's interventionist foreign policy to blame for that?The attacks on the Jewish targets were provoked by Israel's crimes against the Palestinians and Lebanese. America and Israel can be considered to be joined at the hip, since Israel controls US Mideast policy through AIPAC and other pro-Israel lobbying groups. I'm not saying that the killing of random Jewish people is justified in response to the crimes of the Zionists, but when militant Muslims do it, this is generally their motivation.

To my knowledge, it is not yet certain who carried out the Madrid bombings. It may have been a separatist group. In any case, it's odd that no one credibly claimed responsibility.

I don't recall the details of the other incidents. But what I do know is this: The US government has killed MANY more innocent people over the past couple of decades than terrorists (real or so-called) could ever dream of killing.

Remember the Icelanders have never been attacked, and they are not interfering anywhere, they are obviously far to small, but it still is a good example.
