Also consider that the November5th Money bomb website was created only about 15 days before the event. Compared to around 40 days for the teaparty bomb. KEEP TELLING PEOPLE!

I believe we can hit 10 million, but frankly that graph proves nothing.

Lets just hope the rate of growth continues at the current rate. If it does this up until the 16th, it should be well over 10 mill.

We have to keep spreading the word about the Tea Party!

Lets just hope these are mostly legit. I have a feeling the vast majority are. I think A LOT of people didn't donate on the 15th, but don't want to miss out on what is guaranteed to be a history making day. I have my fingers crossed for 10+ million, but I wouldn't be disappointed with 5-6 mil. That's still a lot of money.

But yes, aim high! :D

I believe we can hit 10 million, but frankly that graph proves nothing.

It proves that the growth of support for the event is far superior to the nov 5 money bomb and with over a month to go and several people (including me) working on promoting it, we are going to CRUSH the 5th

Combine that with the other thread where more people who DIDN'T contribute on the 5th and plan on doing so on the 16th outnumber (by far) those who contributed on the 5th and don't plan on doing so on the 16th, combined with fresh donors, etc...
etc...
etc...
etc...
This is going to be kick ass and then some!

I'm searching for more places to ask about placing banners/links, so if you have any suggestions - please do.

The Ron Paul campaign is growing. We need to keep spreading the word about the Tea Party so every new Ron Paul supporter will know about it!

Well the support isn't double in correlation to time, but that pace needs to keep up. That is something that I doubt will happen. Just looke at how donations have dwindled down very badly since the 5th.

True but what is even more important is recruiting NEW supporters. All existing supporters already know about the Tea Party. We need to get a bunch of first-time contributors.

How about asking NORML to put the banner on their site?

I am optimistic, but I have seen FAR LESS promotion of this item that the november 5th item. I was seeing that all over.... not much with this one..

were the nov5th people notified of the dec. 16th item?

Also, I am for sure thinking that those numbers are being padded to take wind away from our sale.

I only knew about the November 5th money bomb for about 2 days before the actual event, and I didn't even bother looking to see if I could afford to chalk up my modest little $50. With so many more weeks to prepare, and so much more incentive, I'm planning on donating more on the 16th. I doubt I'm the only one who feels very encouraged to break the bank.

Possibly, but not many in the media reported the number of pledges. It was all about actual donors, so that would be a strange and probably ineffective strategy for any of our opponents to coordinate on a large scale.

And I've noticed that the Tea Party site has far viewer page views so far. I think This Nov. 5th had ten times the number of views as it had pledges, but this one only has 3-4 times as many. Not sure what that means.

Which is why I'm trying to advertise on sites where we can get new supporters - like offtopic.com

Just a quick best fit line, with a linear extrapolation (doing it all in my head, so I could be wrong) is something like 80,000+ subscribers to this bomb. If we get a similar donation/signup ratio as we did last time and similar average donation, that's like $15M in one freaky-deaky day. If that happens, I wonder how many candidates will drop out the next day. LOL.

I believe we can hit it but doesn't prove anything. of course sign ups will be faster, all the userbase of nov 5th is primed for dec 16th, half of those sign ups would quickly commit to the new drive. Whereas when the 5th was first being planned nobody knew how well it would do.

But it's still good that the growth is fast but people, KEEP PROMOTING IT. If you're not talking with your friends, family, neighbours, workmates, classmates etc. etc. at least get on forums which maybe haven't heard the ron paul message and try to spark discussion in an intelligent way. There are so many places where you can try to inspire people into donating on the 16th.

Remember if we raise more than 6.3 million we will be WORLD RECORD HOLDERS. wooooo

Check out putting banners on Fantasy sport sites

That is a huge untapped market

Even if we stopped making new fantastic videos by the week, stopped spamming every established place on the internet, and more or less turned our computers off until the 16th of December -- I think we've already set the wheels in motion, and that December 16th is going to be a record day.

But if we want to drop jaws, thrust our candidate onto every cover of every magazine, and give him the capital to defend himself with as much confidence as anyone on that stage -- we BETTER keep pushing all the up and through December 16th. Keep pushing until 11:59 PM on December 16th.

Don't forget that with the 11/5 fundraiser, emails were sent to all the Meetups and also to each of Ron's myspace friends. All 65000 of them. Adam Curry was also promoting the 11/5 fundraiser. Is he promoting this new one?

Someone was suggesting in another thread that we send out a request to each of the precious metal dealers, asking for their support.

I'm mostly sure we'll hit $10m easy, a lot of people will donate more than $100.

That's no reason not to PUSH HARD though, since we could set a new record again and go down in history for a very long time! :)

Edit: did I say $10m? I meant $12m!

All I know is what I see and I see that we are going to have ALOT MORE people signed up than for the 5th

I would love to finish in at $20 Million for the 4th Quarter. I think it's a stretch, but it's achievable.

I hope so.

I gave $100 on the 5th of November and I am giving $200 for the Tea Party.

I would have a sick feeling on the 17th if Dr. Paul breaks more records and I wasn't part of it.

I gave like $15 on the 5th. Through the sale of the book you see in my sig - I'll be giving HUNDREDS this time.
