Eh. Don't like the association of Paul with Lincoln. Lincoln essentially set a precedent that the Federal government trumps States' rights. I doubt Ron Paul would have done the same.

Video was waaaaay too long.

The spinning newspapers got really old and really annoying pretty quickly. Seemed too gimmicky and looked like cheap-clip-art.

You stayed focused on images and text waaaaayy too long. We can read faster than that! Once I read it, many times I waited 10+ seconds to see the next image. Made it boring.

Hated the music too. High pitched whining if you ask me. And the pumping high energy music did not jive with the slow, plodding pace of the images.

Clicked away after a torturous 4 minutes.

Sorry, dude but you did ask.

Appreciate the effort though. I've never made a youtube video, so who the hell am I?

thanks for honesty, I agree, my computer is too shitty for premiere and Window Video Maker error ike every 5 second so i kinda rushed it, but yeah, honesty is freedom woot woot.

Yeah this is a tricky issue. I noticed the Lincoln quote in "A New Hope" as well. Powerful but inaccurate. Lincoln was in fact the opposite of what people think he was. And he is certainly the opposite of what Paul stands for. Lincoln was a power hungry, authoritarian, racist.

But that requires reversing several generations of miseducation. And while everyone is trying to paint RP as racist going on about the Lincoln myths is a sure way for people to think RP is a racist.

The appropriate comparison is MLK. Now there is a real champion of civil rights. And his non-violent approach is a better comparison to RP for future videos.

your right, for the record I just use what images I could find, I wasn't really trying to make a statement with the lincoln image, though if someone wants to impose his face on MLK I'll edit it.
